AOMANI’S PHILOSOPHY

Aomani® is more than just an ethical clothing brand, it’s also a concept, a philosophy of life that aims to achieve true well-being. Such a well-being goes far beyond personal comfort.
It implies a good conscience and therefore a moral sense that commits us to act with re-sponsability.
We want Aomani® to be a reference to common sense, and consistency in our attitudes, which must be above words. To be conscious is to know, and knowledge makes us responsible.
This is how we build our well-being. It is in this way that we learn to know each other, that we learn to love each other to be able to respect our environment, social and natural, our ecosystem, decisive but fragile, like Love itself.
This planet that gives us everything in exchange for nothing is responsible for reminding us that we do not live in symbiosis with it. Indeed, our Earth doesn’t need us at all, whereas we have a pressing need for it, and it is only through a deep respect that we can learn to live in harmony with it.

It is through this example that Aomani® strives to teach a course of action that brings hope, which shows on a small scale that the harmful fashion oligarchy can be dismantled.
Aomani® aims to be a source of advice, echoing key tips and solutions that lead to responsible attitudes.
We wish to influence the minds sufficiently to manage to reshape all our life-poisoning so that our human nature, unique and fabulous, in a much larger and fabulous nature, finds in Love and respect the antidote to the misdeeds of blind lust.

• A complete Transparency on social and environmental standards, and compliance with standards throughout the sector.
• A Quality that pays but comes back cheaper. Buy less to buy better, a sustainable product, resistant to time, and the vagaries of fashion dictatorships.

Aomani is a clothing brand, ethical in every respect.
Much more than a fashion statement, Aomani is a concept that germinated just a few years ago in the mind of Cynthia Laure, a French expatriate living in Barcelona, a city girl possessed by a globe-trotting soul, who has crisscrossed the planet in her quest for connections. A lover of fashion and the environment, she is the creative and innovative brain behind her own brand. Cynthia quickly became aware of the challenges facing fashion that is supposed to be ethical and inevitably sustainable.

“I’ve never been indifferent to the damage done to the environment and the disastrous impact of this large-scale industry on the human factor”, she says. It’s the pioneers in the creation of ethical brands that inspire her, the Australians in particular. The influence is strong enough to encourage her to follow in their footsteps, but it’s a path fraught with pitfalls, particularly in Europe!

A determined entrepreneur, her quest for solutions brought her into contact with two people who were key to making her project a reality: Chloé Bloom, a mentor in personal and spiritual fulfillment, and Elsa Goes Green, a highly qualified advisor and technician in ethical and sustainable fashion. These encounters led to a profound professional exchange, with assistance and advice at the end of the day. Where to find the right raw materials? Which fabrics to make? How do I create new patterns? How do I convey my ideas through my creations? That’s the challenge Cynthia has set herself.
